FORECAST FREEWAY Every Mile Covered

The old roads — before the Interstates, these were how America drove.

The U.S. Numbered Highways ran through town, not around it: Main Street with a black-and-white shield on the lamppost. US-2 along the Canadian border, US-50 across the loneliest middle of Nevada, US-61 down the blues delta, US-101 hugging the Pacific. We ride them the way they were built — town by town, junction by junction — with live conditions along the road and the official NWS forecast one tap away at any waypoint. Where a route was cut apart by history, the map says so honestly: a gap is a gap.

Tier-1 expansion

The rest of the tier-1 system is building now.

Six routes are live above. The next wave of the Americana expansion covers the rest of the curated tier-1 list — about twenty-five of the great numbered highways, US-66 included as a heritage corridor — before we attempt all ~220. Each arrives with its towns, junctions, state-reset mileposts, and weather at every waypoint.
